1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the WE BASIC mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms are a legal agreement between you and YESCA TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED. We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to use the App.
  • If you are between 13 and 18 (or under the age of majority in your country), you need a parent's or guardian's consent.
  • By using the App, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Account Registration and Security

3.1 Account Creation: Use a valid email and keep your info updated. One account per person.

3.2 Account Security: You are responsible for your password. Notify us immediately of unauthorized access.

3.3 Account Verification: We may require email or photo verification.

4. Description of Service

4.1 Core Features: Church discovery, profiles, posts/reels, events, job listings, businesses, donations, family trees, and messaging.

4.2 Roles: User, Member, Church Admin, Church Head, and Artist. Features depend on your role.

4.3 Onboarding: Churches require approval and use invite codes.

5. Subscription Plans and Payments

  • Churches with up to 20 members are free; larger churches require a paid plan.
  • Payments are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google, not by us.
  • Prices vary by country and are shown in your local currency.

6. User Content

6.1 Ownership: You own your content but grant us a license to operate the App.

6.2 Content Standards: All content submitted to this App must comply. You agree your content will not:

  • Promote terrorism or violent extremism.
  • Encourage, instigate, or promote harm to yourself or others.
  • Encourage one group against another or incite division between communities.
  • Contain religious blaming, criticizing, or cursing — zero tolerance for content that disparages any faith or belief.
  • Distribute pornography or sexually explicit material.
  • Promote harassment of any individual or group.
  • Contain false information, hate speech, threats, spam, malware, or impersonation.
  • Violate the laws of the land — you must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws.

6.2.1 Religious Harmony and User Responsibility: We maintain 0% tolerance against anything that disturbs religious harmony. You are solely responsible for all content you upload. We do not endorse or assume liability for User Content.

6.3 Moderation: We may remove content that violates these Terms. Edited posts may require re-approval.

6.6 Reposting: Church Heads and Artists may repost content with attribution.

7. Acceptable Use Policy

Do not use the App for illegal purposes, hacking, or bots. Church leaders must act fairly and follow the rules.

7.3 Prohibited Technical Actions: The following are strictly prohibited: phishing, social engineering, denial-of-service attacks, resource exhaustion attacks, Privacy Policy violations, testing of third-party services without authorization, and using vulnerabilities to exfiltrate data or gain unauthorized access.

7.4 Social Media Platform Protections: We may moderate, remove, or restrict content without prior notice. We are not obligated to host any content. We will take action against spam, fake accounts, and platform abuse. Violations may result in content removal, suspension, or permanent account termination.

8. Intellectual Property

We own the App's design and code. "WE BASIC" is our trademark. Feedback you provide may be used without compensation.

9. Privacy

Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.

10. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services for authentication, database, storage, push notifications, mapping, and payment processing. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

11. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is." We do not guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted. We do not endorse every church or user on the platform.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the last 4 months or $20 USD (or equivalent), whichever is greater.

13. Account Termination

You may delete your account anytime via Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations. Subscriptions are not refunded upon termination.

14. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

Contact us first to resolve disputes informally. These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes may be submitted to binding arbitration. Class actions are waived.

15. Children's Privacy and Child Safety

15.1 Age Requirement: The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them. Users between 13 and 17 must have parental or guardian consent.

15.2 Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) Policy: WE BASIC maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. This includes child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, trafficking, and any other conduct that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children.

Our commitments:

  • Promptly remove any CSAM or CSAE-related content upon obtaining actual knowledge of its presence.
  • Report instances of CSAM and CSAE to the appropriate authorities, including NCMEC and law enforcement.
  • Immediately and permanently terminate accounts that upload, share, solicit, or distribute CSAM.
  • Cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations related to CSAE.

15.3 Reporting CSAE: If you encounter any content or conduct involving child exploitation, report it immediately in-app (select "Child Exploitation / CSAM"), or email childsafety@webasic.org. You may also report directly to NCMEC.

16. Reporting and User Safety

WE BASIC provides in-app reporting mechanisms for posts, users, and comments. Reports may be submitted for spam, harassment, hate speech, violence, sexual content, child exploitation, false information, copyright violation, or other concerns.

  • Report a Post: Tap the menu icon on any post and select "Report."
  • Report a User: Visit the user's profile, tap the menu, and select "Report User."
  • Report a Comment: Long-press on any comment and select "Report."

All reports are reviewed by our moderation team. We take appropriate action including content removal, warnings, suspension, or permanent termination. Illegal activity may be reported to law enforcement.
